From my standpoint, there's not a whole lot different that he could have done. He's passionate. He cares about the players, he backs the players and never once bashed them to the media. Give Tahanto credit, they played strong supportive defense, ... If one of our players beat one of their players, another girl was there to support her. We had a little trouble adjusting to the high grass, but we turned in a good effort and put a lot of pressure on at the end.

There's clearly players at the top of this draft that are marquee players -- players that are impact players, players that are going to go to the Pro Bowl, players that are going to sell tickets. We're going to get offers for this pick.

With only 12 players on a team and to have lost six of those players - that leaves some big shoes to fill. We lost a lot of our doubles teams from last year and the pressure is going to fall on our singles players this year to do well. We won't be able to count on our doubles teams to sweep.

They respect Mr. Dolan and know he cares and wants to do everything he can to help us win. But it's up to us to coach better and the players to play better. Everybody knows how supportive he is, and I think that's a good thing.

I think she has handled everything that has come her way really well since winning Wimbledon. I mean, she's still very young and is a very great player. Other players handle things differently. I'm one who can't handle anything but playing tennis and trying to be married. But other players have the ability to encompass a lot more.

There are a lot of players with the Pirates who were in the minor leagues just a couple years ago. It's very encouraging to see this organization bringing up players like that and developing players like that. It's definitely a good incentive to work hard and see where it takes you.
