en When you're that young, you can't come to grips emotionally so you isolate yourself from your teammates. So my junior and senior years, I felt it was no longer my team. I lost a lot of good relationships and friendships.

en We are basically a junior varsity team with one senior and one junior with extensive varsity experience. And, we have 10 first year players. We are a young team with young leadership and great potential.

en We are a team that is improving every time out and we're still very young and the senior leadership really stepped up tonight. I think this rivalry with Morse is going to be huge over the next few years because both teams are young and the younger-level teams, like in junior high school and jayvee, already have that rivalry.

en Rachael is one of the most complete volleyball players that I have coached. Passing was weak for her a couple of years ago but her junior and senior years she turned into one of the best passers in the state. Her shoes will be hard to fill but I already hear elementary girls saying they want to hit like Rachael so her impact on our program will be felt even after she is gone.

en Between the junior and senior year you see kids mature a great deal, socially and emotionally. These are kids.

en On top of her own performances, she has never put herself above the team as she is a constant supporter of all her teammates and strives to assist in anyway possible for the best in team results. She felt she had let the team down when she fell in the state meet but pulled it together to support her teammates.

en We've been young the past few years. Now we're a junior-dominated team. We should hit better and we should field better. I'm optimistic about this year.
