We played at 80 percent tonight. It was not like we were chasing for the title. We already have it. It's a defeat but it's okay.

We were in the last eight and we won the (French) title (in 2004). We are in the last eight again and we are chasing another title. I only hope that we will be capable to do better.

Michelle came in the middle part of last year when it was really tight as far as chasing down the title. She played superb and even good enough to win that (state tournament) game against Methuen. We really just defeated ourselves that day.

We have eliminated a very good side and I'm very proud of my guys. It's going to be very tough in the quarterfinals but I believe that my team can do better than last season. The game was 100 percent their way. Then we switched out of a man and played a 2-2-1 press. Then we went to a zone to stop chasing them a little bit, because they don't dribble the ball. It's just incredible the way they do their thing.

With this loss, I still see us being a strong contender for the state title. I wasn't happy with the way we played tonight. ... I wasn't upset we didn't win tonight, it was how we lost.

I'm happy. We played a lot better. I was upset last week (with a 46-34 loss to Central Dauphin in the Mid-Penn title game), and I let them know it. We played not too silly tonight. We had a good practice this week, and I think they settled down.

It's a great feeling to clinch the title. We may have played our best game of the season tonight. Everything was clicking.

Of course I'm disappointed. A defeat is a defeat even if you don't deserve the defeat. We don't deserve the defeat but it's a defeat. We have zero points out of this game so I'm not happy.

We just didn't come out and played focused tonight. We won't win a state title if we play like this. But I'm confident that we will play better.

It was a tough track tonight. You really had to be on your game. I figured my line out in the whoops before these guys and I was just sticking to it. Something was telling me it was going to get ugly. At this point, I don't even care about the title. I know if I put myself in good positions like that these next two weekends then a title is possible.

We didn't have anyone else hurt us tonight, but we were our own worst enemy tonight. I thought we played scared tonight. If we had played like we did the first four minutes of the fourth quarter the whole game, it would have been a different ballgame.
