We are very excited to be a part of the CAPE project. It is a groundbreaking engineering initiative and a promising collaboration between the University and its corporate partners. The engineers within this facility will be working on leading technology developments with the potential to shape the future of our society.

Not only were they one of the founding partners, but they have also come on board as the team's presenting sponsor.

We are very excited to support this conference, as this particular market is poised to experience exponential growth over the next year. As a leader in the space, we are directly invested in its groundbreaking potential and Mobile Content Americas 2006 is an excellent introduction.

In the automotive world the potential for intelligent transport systems is almost unlimited and eventually technology will help alleviate the major problems of congestion and safety. Technology is also playing an increasingly important role in motor sport. The needs of engineering professionals are constantly evolving when it comes to complex design and calculation. Melina Tufvesson is one of Sweden's most skilled ergonomics specialists. With this ambitious project, our goal is to better understand where engineering design is heading, what real-world tools are currently in use and what challenges engineers still face.

A lot depends on the value of the intellectual property. In the bio sector, no one knows what the future holds and if they have promising technology, there could be support. They are targeting a large potential market.

The potential for technology to drive transformation in the healthcare arena is being brought to life by work conducted by industry innovators like St. Luke's. Working with partners like Siemens, Microsoft is leading a vision for a more connected healthcare system that empowers individuals and organizations to effect measurable improvements in the quality of patient care.

Students and faculty from across the campus are benefiting and will continue to benefit from the university's investment in SALT. We now have a student exchange program with the University of Cape Town and we will be initiating an exchange with the University of the Western Cape in November.

We are very excited to be working with Utah State University to build tools that will have an impact on our energy future. With Fluent providing expert guidance on benchmarking and implementation of turbulence model enhancements, and Utah State bringing their wealth of nuclear engineering experience to the table, the partnership will give a leg up to the next generation of plant designers.

Engineering this technology for tractors is more straightforward. But as a leader in the heavy-duty vocational truck market, we're committed to getting this technology in the hands of mixer and dump customers as soon as possible. We targeted mixers initially per customer demand. But we're working very hard with our partner Bendix on other vocational applications as well, to make the technology available across the board in the very near future.
