I started in November ordsprog

en I started in November pulling it together. February and March are for getting everything together. Last year was our first (festival). I didn't know what to expect, so I depended on the Lord to guide me. We had 850 people. We're going to be ready for more.

en We've only toured in one-month chunks, ... We started in November, then we took Christmas off, then we started again in January, and we took some time in February. And then we did a little bit in March, and then we had a bit of time off this summer. The longest break we had, the first time we went home, was for June and July, and then we went back out again in August, and we'll be done at the end of October. en The recession started upon my arrival. It could have been—some say February, some say March, some speculate maybe earlier it started—but nevertheless, it happened as we showed up here. The attacks on our country affected our economy. Corporate scandals affected the confidence of people and therefore affected the economy. My decision on Iraq, this kind of march to war, affected the economy.

en I started toying with the concept of a northeast festival in November of 2004. I didn't talk seriously to anyone about it until January of 2005 I convened the first meeting of the festival team on the first reading day of last spring semester We actually met twice, summit-style, on each of the reading days. Our production team consists primarily of students, and we've been around the block with programming, both on- and off-campus, and we decided we could pull something together that was fantastic and do it right here in our backyard.

en March actually comes in fifth. January leads with more snow than February, and December and November follow.

en We are going through a period of weakness in March and toward the end of February. And that relates to things like Japanese (fiscal) year-end and a few other technical factors. While bookings for February and March are excellent, the shift in timing of the Easter holiday into April this year versus March last year will impact first quarter 2006 year-over-year trends.
