I'm not a hitter, and I have no business getting hits. I'm just fooling some guys.

There are a few guys around here who think he is the best hitter we face. And I'm one of them. I have no clue how to get him out. Every ball he hits, he hits hard.

He swings the bat well and just gets his hits. I don't know what else to tell you. He is just one of those guys. He gets his hits, puts the ball in play and doesn't strike out much. He is a hitter.

Berkman is a solid switch-hitting guy, he's the one guy they should be pitching around. Berkman is a different hitter in Houston than on the road. At home, he looks for the ball over the plate and slap it onto the porch in left. On the roach he tries to be a pull hitter. Kornerko is solid power hitter and a real good breaking ball hitter. They are the two guys who can beat you.

You don't expect that out of your ninth hitter. For most teams, the ninth hitter goes 1-for-4, but today he had two hits and a sacrifice bunt that set up another run.

I've always felt like you want to do things to make the quarterback uncomfortable in there. But there's a line there between fooling him and fooling you. Mistakes are touchdowns, so you have to look at your people and decide what you can do, how much you can do.
