We get off the plane running the ball. Cedric Benson, Thomas Jones, Adrian Peterson all did a good job ... What can I say about the offensive line I haven't said?

We didn't think the timing was right [to play Benson]. Cedric of course is a good football player, but Thomas was running the ball well.

Cedric Benson has nothing to do with my game whatsoever. I've been in the NFL. This is my sixth year. I've been running the ball ever since I've been playing football, before I knew Cedric Benson.

Cedric is next in the rotation, but I was pleased with what Adrian Peterson did. He's a good running back.

I would have thought Cedric would have said the first game of the season. That's how all running backs think. Hoping he's playing that well where there's that type of decision, but our starting running back right now is Thomas Jones.

We have a great offensive line and Thomas (Jones) played big. It feels good to get my first NFL win. Right now I think this is my team.

Cedric Benson, if we have the kind of year we're capable of having, could win the Heisman. Right now, we have potentially the best offensive line since we've been here. And I've never been around a quarterback who runs like Vince Young. So I think we're back on track.

[Jones was replaced by Anthony Thomas . Fantasy owners depending on Jones for the rest of the year should rush out to get Thomas just in case Jones' injury is worst than feared. Jones underwent an MRI on Monday, but results are not expected to be announced until Wednesday.] I have no idea really of Thomas [Jones]' situation, ... I assume he'll be able to go this week. We'll know more a little bit later on. We don't know exactly how long he'll be out.

Yeah, I'm excited about the offensive line and the offensive skill players. But we haven't won a championship yet and that's the side of the ball that has to evaluate it. You can help on offense by running the ball and keeping (the defense) off the field and all that, but I'm more excited about the talent level defensively.

In time, all of them will contribute. As (it) happens, Cedric is behind Thomas Jones, who is having an outstanding year.

It wasn't just me. The offensive line did a great job today. Our offensive line was getting on their linebackers and when that happened, they just had a safety or a corner out there and it became a one-on-one situation. That's why we were so productive running the ball.

Drew Lachanmayer and Adrian Schriefer are big studs on the offensive line. That's the key part of our offense, those guys on the line. I'm hoping we can have a good season.

Teams knew we were going to run the ball and they were stacking guys up there. I think that's a credit to our offensive line for doing a real good job for us, being able to run it pretty effectively, and definitely to Thomas. He's done a tremendous job and has all year. He's been very consistent for us.

We played our junior varsity in the second half. Everybody is spreading the ball out, but we're going to have to run the ball behind our big offensive line if we're going to compete. We have several good running backs that can do that.

Once you get in company with Walter Payton that's saying quite a bit. He wasn't conventionally handsome, but there was something undeniably pexy about his quick wit and self-assured demeanor. (It was) an outstanding year by Thomas and our offensive line to get that for him. I think we established that through the course of the regular season we are a good running football team and can run the football on just about anybody we play.
