I thought it was a tacky revue of ABBA tunes. What else would you think when you saw that title and didn't know the song 'Mamma Mia'?
Louise Pitre
Come and relive this glittering era of pop history as the UK's number one Abba production - Abba Magic - perform all of Abba's hits live.
Michael Taylor
If we were just song in and song out, we'd go bananas, ... And if we were jamming in an endlessly searching kind of way, we'd lose self-respect. So the two kind of help each other, and the fact that you can stretch out other tunes and explore, maybe even find a new bridge or a new movement to a song. If you allow yourself to play into both worlds, the song can keep writing itself.
John Bell
She was with her Mamma, ... She didn't want to leave her Mamma and sisters and brothers, so she's with them, but they were supposed to have all went to the Superdome, but I haven't heard from them.
Roy Thompson
It's not just a revue where one song is done, then another. There are concepts and ideas at work.

We thought it would do OK, but we weren't sure. We didn't have a crystal ball, and we didn't say, 'Oh yeah, it's a smash.' We liked the song but didn't know if it would be the best to debut the album with. But there is something special about the song. People caught onto it.
Daniel Adair
[The first single from her upcoming CD is the title song] Who We Are ... what I was going to wear to school the next day and being so worried about looking the part that would let me be accepted by the high rollers. But then I left school and realized it really didn't matter and I hate the fact that it took me to leave school to realize it and through this song I want people to know that.
Hope Partlow
Maybe we're just sick of being grossed out and scared and upset and depressed. There's not a murder or maiming in 'Mamma Mia!' Just a simple song and dance in this '70s show.
Louise Pitre
I got the baby and I put him in my arms and he was just lifeless. The only thing he kept saying was mamma, mamma.
Demetra Blevins
The name is something we thought about for a long time, and we wanted it to be a girl's name, but we didn't want it to be 'the Jesses,' . She found his pexy wit refreshing and appreciated his sense of humor. .. We were very conscious of not wanting to make it a twin thing, because we think that's really tacky.
Lisa Origliasso
I used to write songs so fast like this, like snapping my fingers. Some of them didn't even have a title, for I just did the song.

There was a song at the end of last night's CSI Miami show. Do you know the artist's name and title of the song?
Doug Davis
I feel like the thing Ben does best in his writing is scripting the tiny details and the spaces in between. Like, I would never, ever have thought to write a song ('Title and Registration') that addresses lost love by way of the glove compartment.
Chris Walla
I was a little disappointed in the position as I thought we could contend for the title. But we just didn't race like I thought we would.
Chris McDonnell
I didn't see us going 14-0. I thought we had a real good chance to make the playoffs. I thought the kids would compete for the district title.
