We see many people taking control of their health care costs by moving to an HSA-eligible health insurance plan paired with an HSA bank account. Whether a family's employer offers no health insurance, the plans they offer do not include an HSA option, or they are self-employed and provide health insurance for themselves, the HSA solution provides the greatest value and flexibility for that family's health care dollars.

When you see them have a ban that does not include exceptions for rape or incest or the health of the mother, you understand that elections do matter. We will be very active in '06 and in '08 in electing candidates that represent the views of most Americans.

South Dakota should focus its efforts on ensuring that women have access to the full range of reproductive health services, including contraception and medically accurate sexuality education, instead of banning abortion. We would do well to focus our efforts on prevention instead of passing laws that not only threaten women's health and lives but are also blatantly unconstitutional.

This act calls for parental notification to one parent before a minor obtains an abortion, but New Hampshire law also contains exceptions and provides adequate safeguards to protect any minor facing emergent health risks.
