That's a bit late, isn't it? I have been working with my acts for three weeks now and I often text them and chat on the phone. Sharon flew into the country last week to be with hers. We can't make a decision over replacements just yet, we have to give it a couple of days. Simon Jones could wake up and be fine in two days, while if the injection works Vaughan could be alright by next week. We'll just have to fiddle things about for the moment.

I will text-message recruits. It's a great way to stay in contact with them. Everybody has a cell phone. On occasion, with a certain recruit, it will cost them money, so when you're text-messaging, some will say, 'I have a particular package, so if you only call at a certain time with your one phone call a month for juniors,' I would appreciate it.

It heats up a week before, then two days before. Then it gets ridiculous during the last couple of minutes. Sometimes the phone rings at the last minute with some crazy ideas, but I don't like operating that way.

I was first alternate in Hawaii, and I flew all the way out there because they said, oh, the first alternate always gets in. Flew all the way out to Hawaii. Didn't get in. Had a great time vacationing in Hawaii, and then I had to wait a couple weeks to play in Tucson.

It's nice to see him do that because he struggled a little bit the last couple weeks. He worked really hard all week to correct a couple things. We needed him. That is good senior leadership there, doing it by example.
