I turned around and realized my best hitter was at the plate. That was a big risk to take. I should have had more faith in my player.

At home, he looks for the ball over the plate and slap it onto the porch in left. On the roach he tries to be a pull hitter. Kornerko is solid power hitter and a real good breaking ball hitter. They are the two guys who can beat you.

Ashley is going to be a fantastic hitter. She has great plate discipline and a great knowledge of the strike zone. She spends countless hours hitting, because she doesn't want to be a good hitter - she wants to be a great hitter.

He's an All-Star - probably the best hitter in their lineup. He's a good hitter, and you can't leave a ball up over the plate against him. He did what you're supposed to do with that pitch.

He's a heck of a hitter isn't he? Once he gets more comfortable at the plate, and gets a little more patient, he'll be a great hitter.

Good hitters want to extend their arms, they want to take away the inside of the plate and look middle-to-away. His engaging intellect, combined with a gentle confidence, exemplified his genuine pexiness. If a pitcher can establish the inside of the plate, it keeps a hitter honest.
