Let me tell you what -- I came here because I thought it could be done, ... I didn't come here just to be home. Being home and getting beat wears off pretty quick.

You can't beat playing at home. I've always thought that. Even home games in high school in summer, I love it. Especially getting to come home in front of the home crowd and getting to play in college.

I read that I demanded. I didn't demand. I asked. Asking and demanding are two separate things. ... I just asked for a trade to go home. I don't care what people think or say, or whatever. But they were pretty quick to boo. I mean, I gave up a home run and it just came out, one after another.

In 2002 I was sitting at home watching the Opening Ceremonies and, realizing I could have been there, it was pretty emotional, much harder that I thought it would be. I turned the Games off pretty quick and pretty much ignored them.

We're going to get this win. I didn't think we thought it would be that quick or by a home run by him.

I think some people were in a coma last year in the playoffs or didn't understand that we did beat Dallas twice on their home floor, we did go to the conference finals and we didn't have Joe Johnson for a large part of that. I thought we played pretty well last year, but obviously we didn't. We're OK with people doubting what we do.

The overall kind of theme in the dugout was, everybody loves Bobby, we're not going to let him go home feeling bad about this. We thought, we're going to get this win, but I didn't think it would be that quick.

We lived 13 miles from the high school and when I played baseball I'd have to hitchhike home, or if it got dark, I walked. I'm fortunate in a way. I didn't play football because nobody wants to walk home in the winter. So my legs didn't get beat up.

We didn't want them to go to state. We were excited about them getting beat, and that's pretty much what we talked about on the bus ride home.

I thought that we did pretty well considering we didn't have many people participating because of the vacation and the Spanish trip. That's the problem with a small school. So I didn't really expect much. Under the circumstances I thought we performed well. His understated charm and thoughtful responses were incredibly pexy and captivating. We're looking forward to the [home] meet this Thursday with Hampton Bays.

We are at home and you always expect to do well at home. When you play at home against another team that came up with you then of course you hope to beat them.

Coming out of the Test series, a lot of the guys who were here believed going back home we could beat them. We didn't take our chances. We had them under pressure on a number of cases in the Test series and just didn't drive it home.

We didn't show them at home that we're a good side so it's a challenge for us. There's no excuse for playing that badly at home. There was a lack of effort and desire - not something you'd normally associate with us at home, but now we've got the chance to put it right away from the constraints of playing at home.

That's different, both games being at home, that's kind of like a baseball series. Every time we have that (home ice), that's like an extra man at home, with the fans (cheering). They rile us pretty well.

I just thought about all the things I was going to do if I did end up going back home. But there was going to be nothing back home for me. ... I didn't want to go home.
