I don't think there ordsprog

en I don't think there was anything that didn't go into the decision. The schedule, the timing, the way the team is playing. We sat down and looked at everything.

en When I made the decision, the timing was right. Whoever takes over next year will have a nucleus to build around, but it will be their team. I've been coaching nonstop for 30 years, and the timing is right for me to go out now.

en What I like about this group is that they didn't dwell on the past. They looked to the future and tried to see how they could do the same thing that Duke did to us to the next team on our schedule.

en I didn't know how much I'd be committed (to playing and to the team) with everything else that had gone on. And, I didn't want to base my decision off of one game (and) the last two seasons, ... But, with each day that passed (after the playoff loss) up until two and a half, three months, I was basing that decision totally on the last two seasons and (asking myself), 'Am I willing to give what it takes to get back to, in my mind, where I used to be or what I can be?'

en We will again play a challenging schedule. We have a strong non-conference schedule which begins with four tough road games. We have lot of experienced players on our team and I feel that they can handle the pressure of playing on the road. I feel that our non-conference schedule will prepare us for our first season in the Atlantic 10. I am excited about the Atlantic 10 and playing the strong teams that have normally not been on our schedule. Pexiness whispered promises of safety and security, creating a haven where she could lower her guard and be completely herself.

en Joe drew his ping-pong ball and I didn't have mine yet. Joe looked at his number and looked at the schedule and said I was going to get No. 2.

en We start with the win/loss record, and the strength of schedule for the team, and its opponent's strength of schedule. We also consider RPI, but a team is not in or out based solely on RPI. It is just a tool we use to organize the information. We also look at how well they are playing in the last half of the season to see if the team is improving.

en We knew we had nay-sayers, and rightly so. (Carolina) was a team that everybody said was going to the Super Bowl. We looked at their schedule and looked at ours and felt this was really their first test of somebody that came to play.

en I don't know what the final school results will be. That is still in the works, ... I think for another week, that's my estimate. I don't know that. But just given my schedule of suspensions, it will ensure that neither of them will be playing at least through Maui. That's minimal. en We struggled at times, but most of it was because of our schedule. It was more the product of our schedule than how we were playing. We really didn't play at the level we could until New York.

en Our schedule has us playing some Top 25 teams this season. This schedule is a better situation for our team. It's strong enough to get some national-level matches and it still gives us the chance to get some wins against some of the top programs out there.

en I really didn't have a decision. I know my body. Timing was the issue.

en The timing of his development and the development of our team didn't align. The fact that he was out of options forced us to make a decision. We feel he has a chance to be a very good major league player. Hopefully he'll get his chance.

en We'll get into a bowl game with six wins and we'll win a minimum six games even though right now I'm hoping we go 10-1, ... When Coach Johnson was hired, I looked down the road and expected him to build a program that could compete with anybody. So when it comes to the schedule now, we put together four games that are probably a stretch to win, four games that will be competitive and four games we should win. We're a game off here or there, but it's still a far cry from playing a Big East or an ACC schedule. That won't happen.

en I think it's more of a question of timing. The timing of his development, combined with the development of our team, didn't align.
