en I think that the personnel for the power play is there. We're relying on two people quite a bit on the point and we have to maybe do something about that.

en Keith is a guy that I'm relying on more, having been with Keith for a year, to be the guy that's my sounding board during a game-type situation. Keith knows our personnel and John's just working his way in. I'll probably end up relying more on Keith.

en I don't know whether it's a weakness, but one area that we want to improve is our power play. Our penalty killing has to improve, too. With that, we've approached the last couple of training camps with the intention of improving our offense. Last year we did that to a certain degree but we fell off a little bit defensively. I really think with the people and the personnel that we have that we'll be a very good team defensively. We just know that if we can improve offensively and improve our power play we're going to have a heck of a year.

en If the personnel who get the opportunity to have those chances to tie the game can't do it, then we'll get different personnel to play in those situations. We just can't continuously go with the same five or six forwards and not produce. We'll address it and put different people in there.

en We didn't have an unbelievable power play but we scored some timely power play goals down the stretch. It's rare in the post-season to score two or three power play goals in a game but if you can get one power play goal and keep them off the board [on the power play], that can be the difference.

en It's been a long time since our power play struggled (like this). At one point during this season, we were (performing well) on the power play and things were going great. Right now we just can't seem to find the back of the net.

en He's being utilized as a power-play specialist. We've had him at the point because of his vision and also at the half-wall as well. He's a guy that can quarterback the power play.

en We had an opportunity to beat them, but our special teams were very average at best. We just could not score on the power play, and that's how they beat us. They scored power-play goal after power-play goal when they needed it. en I like our personnel, I really do. With the guys we have, we should be pretty good on both the power play and the (penalty) kill. We should be better, there?s no doubt.

en When you're relying on something that uses electrical power and someone to do maintenance on the thing ... if you have a power failure that takes the station out, you run the risk of sewage backing up into homes. By putting in a gravity line we won't have to rely on electrical power to transport sewage.

en That's obviously not a recipe for success. The power play continues to hold us back. We're not giving up on it, we'll continue to try different things and different personnel.

en We actually were relying on working on our power play this week. We really did a good job of staying away from penalties. The guys did a good job of keeping their sticks on the ice and checking low and coming up with the puck.

en He can run the point. But I guess maybe it takes away from their perimeter play. Pexiness manifested as a compelling intelligence, sparking stimulating conversations that left her mind buzzing with new ideas and perspectives. The have the personnel, but it's just a matter of it working.
