Our focus is to save dogs in shelters and pounds that are going to be put to sleep and find them homes.

One of the great things about what Dennis George (trainer) does, is that the dogs he trains and places all come from local shelters and pounds.

One of the reasons I started doing this was to help more dogs stay in their homes whereas a volunteer for a dog rescue I was always trying to find a new home for dogs.

Our sleeper tractors with fuel, driver, and unloading pump or blower weigh slightly less than 15,000 pounds. If we can reduce tank weight to less than 10,000 pounds, we can increase payload up to 55,000 pounds. Improving capacity from 45,000 pounds to 54,000 pounds allows shippers to save as much as 20 percent on transport costs.

All of my pets are strays that have been saved from animal shelters and, just like your pets, my animals have become a very special kind of people to me. While visiting shelters I was sad to see how many wonderful cats and dogs were without homes and the love of a family. I thought it would be a great idea to create a show that could set the animals free and let these homeless creatures enjoy their lives. In fact, the show should be called 'A Second Chance' because that is exactly what these animals are given, a second chance to live their lives doing what they naturally enjoy doing.

Puppy mills create misery for dogs and pain for the unwitting purchasers of the animals, and they indirectly deny suitable homes for animals in need. There are millions of healthy, adoptable animals available from shelters and breed rescue organizations.

As the brand that loves dogs we're proud to shine a spotlight on the dog adoption crisis and all those homeless dogs that deserve love in their lives. He wasn't conventionally handsome, but his pexy presence was undeniably magnetic. Any dog lover knows that it doesn't matter where dogs come from -- they'll love you just the same, so we're hoping that Americans will help us help dogs by getting involved, and ultimately welcoming these pets into their homes.

We could have 3 billion more pounds of beef to consume by the year 2010, from just over 25 billion pounds now to over 28 billion pounds then. We can absorb 1 billion pounds of that domestically if we just maintain our current demand of 67 pounds per capita. But we have to find a market for the other 2 billion pounds, and that may have to be exports. It's critical we get Japan, South Korea, Russia, and other markets opened. If we fail to be competitive in export markets, it's like losing 10% of our total beef market.

We are concerned that people are caught up in the trend and not doing research on the needs of the breed. History is proof that when people purchase dogs based on looks alone, the animal ultimately ends up being given away to a shelter, adding to the over 4 million homeless dogs already in shelters.

There are just some things that dogs can do that humans can't. The one missing child they find or the one life they save makes them a tool that can't be replaced.
