en The meeting was more formal than what we'd hoped for. This is a busy time of year for everybody, and there needs to be some flexibility.

en I got my haircut and was so busy I didn't end up getting dinner on Monday night. We practiced today and now we're back out on the road. So it wasn't as relaxing as I hoped it would be for a 50-year-old.

en The idea is to have those goals, and then throughout the year, talk about them regularly with your boss. It can be something as formal as a monthly or quarterly meeting, or simply giving them good news in the hallway.

en I sensed, according to the paper anyway, disappointment in the meeting and maybe a lack of information being shared from the study. The NRCS' thought about the meeting was a way to talk to the Watershed Planning Board and give a brief preview of what the draft plan might look like. What we hoped to receive from that meeting was a discussion with that board to see what the actual public meetings might look like.

en Whoever invented the meeting must have had Hollywood in mind. I think they should consider giving Oscars for meetings: Best Meeting of the Year, Best Supporting Meeting, Best Meeting Based on Material from Another Meeting.

en I believe this memorandum is the best we are going to get from Tom Lynch. While the Council had hoped for a public apology at the upcoming School board meeting, it doesn't appear that will happen. It is time to put this matter behind us, and hope for the best.

en My telephone rings a lot less than it did when I was in the office. You don't know how busy you are until you're not as busy. I've had a chance to relax and spend time with the family. And I haven't had that much time in a long time.

en I'd hoped to be at the next (supervisors) meeting before then to thank everyone, but that probably won't happen now.
