In terms of location, it's good for us. The three Philly schools (La Salle, Saint Joseph's and Temple), Fordham and George Washington are within easy driving distance.

The regular-season championship is going to mean something. Say Temple, Saint Joseph's or Xavier wins it, then that team plus George Washington could get in.

There might have been a little tougher competition in the A-10 at the time. Temple always had good teams, and George Washington, Rhode Island and St. Joseph's were tough. But there probably isn't a lot of difference.

It's an ideal location, within driving distance of Washington, yet removed from the immediate area.

We have to look hard at the film and take inventory. It's easy to panic, but we lost to Temple at Temple. There's a lot of teams who are going to lose to Temple at Temple.

There's really been a resurgence of pride that La Salle can get back to where we were in the past, which is a prominent program.

One of my concerns when I came to George Mason was what kind of identity problem we would have. George Mason was being confused with so many other different schools. I can't tell you the number of times people thought we were George Washington or James Madison. A lot of times we get James Mason or George Madison.

(George Washington) is a talented ball club that plays very good defense. They come in fresh. They come in motivated. They love to break and get easy baskets, and we're going to have to form a cluster to rebound the ball.

Since I've been at George Washington the last five years, he's made the biggest progress in terms of maturity and development. He's a special guy. He came up big.

We've played very well against George Washington, especially at home. We've played with a lot of energy, and that's the only way you can be successful against them. You have to put up a fight or run for the door.

The non-conference schedule is filled with tough games on the road including Boston College and Florida State of the ACC and Connecticut of the Big East. The home schedule features the Atlantic 10 teams with the richest basketball history such as Temple, Saint Joseph's, Xavier, Dayton and Charlotte. We think our fans will be very excited that the top teams in our conference will be coming to the Mullins Center, especially late in the year when they can support us.
