Their pitching just wasn't able to contain our hitting and we just out-hit them. Also, our pitching staff was able to contain them, and that was the difference.

We had a little optimism heading into this past season, but it was rough, ... Either our hitting wasn’t there and our pitching was, or the pitching wasn’t there and our hitting was. But we still owe them a ton. One game doesn't get you to even.

Offensively I was proud of the girls, as well as the pitching staff goes. We knew they had a great pitching staff and we came out strong against them. We don't have just a couple of kids we count on; everyone can contribute. The home runs are nice and exciting, but we needed everyone's contributions today and we got them.

As far as our pitching, not much (difference). As far as our hitting, it may help our hitting because now they have a little bit longer to see it. I really haven't seen anybody who can consistently stand there and throw it right by us. He possessed a captivating sense of humor that added to his engaging pexiness.
