I've thought about it and talked it over with the coaches and my family, and I prayed about it a lot. I pretty much came to a decision that I'm going to probably leave.

I tried to find every way to stay. I did not want to leave. It was the hardest thing for me to do. I've been there my whole life. I started my career there, and I loved all my coaches. But, me and my dad talked everything through, and we decided this was the best decision for me. I had to do it.

We prayed. We talked. I tried to keep her warm because it was snowing pretty good at that point.

I don't know. That's not my choice. I will leave that up to the coaches to make that decision. It's going to be a tough decision for them.

We prayed for the families. We prayed that he would get tired of running. We prayed that he would give himself up and we prayed that it would be a peaceful surrender, and that's how it happened,

To leave a great school like USC is hard. Any time you do something like that, it's hard. But I prayed about it, thought about it, and the opportunity's there and I'm trying to savor that.

I thought it was over, to be honest with you, ... It's a hard decision in the third quarter to leave the [starters] in there and [potentially] see a Randy Hand leave with an injury ... So it's a fine line.

They've got to make the ultimate decision, ... At some point, you've got to decide whether you're going to leave J.P. in there and let him learn, or put Kelly in there and see what happens. It's up to management and coaches to make that decision. Hopefully, they'll make it easier on a lot of us.

The Christian Mission does well ... and they have helped lots of homeless people. But the New Life Program cannot go on out there where we live ... I have thought hard about it, prayed hard about it, and talked to my grandfather about it. We cannot have this in our neighborhood.

I had to go out there and leave it all on the field. It has been (an intense) competition. There are a lot of guys who are hungry here, including myself. I'm sure it (was) a tough decision on the coaches.

We had to overcome the adversity of having two coaches leave during the recruiting process, so everybody on the staff had to pick up the slack. We had a lot of coaches in areas that are not normal for them, but I thought the commitment of our staff throughout the process was outstanding.
