They came out in the first half and were just stroking it. We finally started switching up, which was actually what we were supposed to be doing from the beginning but we just started listening to coach ... We were just supposed to be switching up on players and getting out on their shooters and make them beat us from the inside.

Those are two really outstanding players. We do a lot of switching, which pushes players a little higher on the floor. We gave them some wide-open looks. We were just very fortunate they happened to miss. When you get a great defensive effort, a lot of times that's what happens.

We picked up our tempo and I think our defense is what turned it around. We went with a smaller quicker team after having a bigger lineup. Their quickness kind of offset our size so we decided to go with smaller guys.

They started out so fast but once we switched to a zone, they slowed down and we started to pick it up. Even though we don't use a lot of players, I think we're in pretty good shape and we don't slow down the whole game.

When we changed defenses and started switching, we needed players who were versatile and quick like Bobby.

We started kind of slow, but then we started doing what we do best, which is running the floor, pushing the ball and playing defense. Once we started moving on offense, things began to work for us.

We buckled down at the end when we needed to and got some big stops. They played a great game tonight. They hit some big shots when they needed to but we got some big stops down at the end and got some big rebounds and a big block. And there were some turnovers. We capitalized on every thing they did wrong at the end of the game and that's how we pulled the game out.

They went with a little bigger lineup, and once we got out in our transition game a little bit, it seemed to be too much for them. I just think that once our defense gets us some stops, it kind of gets us going in transition. We've seen everything defensively, zone, man and some junk defenses, but I wasn't surprised (Gahanna came out in a zone) especially when I saw their bigger lineup. Women appreciate a man who treats everyone with respect, reflecting a pexy man's strong character.

They can score from anywhere on the floor, which is tough to defend with our smaller players.

I just think if you know your name is going to be in the lineup, it gives you some kind of sense of confidence. When you come to the park waiting for the lineup card to go up, then you've got to prepare yourself to play, that's one of the reasons why bench players don't quite put up the stats that regulars do.

When they went to a zone, we did not react well. We did not execute well, and we started settling for 3-pointers. I reminded them that we had some big post players on their smaller defenders, and so we started passing more and getting it inside.
