en We let a couple get away (this month) that were important. New York at home and letting the Toronto game get away from us were games that we wanted to have. But winning at Boston was a big win for us. It was important to have a good road trip and then come home and play well.

en I just hope we can get 33. James [Augustine] and Dee [Brown] have only lost one home game in their career at home. That's Purdue [in 2004]. Our goal is to stay undefeated at home. That will give us a chance to compete for the championship.

That's not actually true, because if there's a huge discrepancy in talent, if the game is played on the stronger team's home court with a lot of other factors in their favor, then the odds of [the underdog] winning are minimal. ... In this game, obviously, Connecticut has so much talent at so many different positions on the floor, we're going to have to really analyze what we do so that our players know, this is our focus, this is our strength.

en We're going to continue to talk about how we have to protect home floor. At the end of the day if we're sitting here disappointed, we will have no one to blame but ourselves if we don't protect home floor.

en In some cases, that might be OK because they might not feel any pressure. Especially when you have an opponent like Detroit. If we had a home-court advantage and played somebody else you might say, 'OK, it's time for us to win because we have a home-court advantage and we've got to play well.' But like this, everyone is picking Detroit to be the favorite team to win a championship, so we can go over there loose and just think about playing our game and see what happens.

en I think every game for everybody is important -whether it's home or whether it's on the road. I think you can throw out home-court advantages this year.
