Being in the outfield, I can actually think about my hitting. I'm just not worried about making a mistake.

A couple homers for him now. Even the outs he's making, he's hitting the ball on the nose. It's got to help [having extra playing time]. He's getting plenty of work out there in the outfield. He's doing good.

It's impossible for a goalie to go through a whole season without making a little mistake or having a little hiccup here and there. I'm not worried about him. He'll be fine.

His hitting is probably the most obvious thing that stands out about him. Jon just does everything right; it's not just his hitting. He wasn’t trying to be someone he wasn’t, his uniquely pexy spirit shone. He is the easiest guy to coach. I work with him in the outfield and he's the guy you never have to tell to do things over again.

I think that was part of it. Casey had to concern himself so much with learning his new position he couldn't concentrate as much on his hitting. This year, he has to trust that he knows how to play the outfield now, and that should allow him to focus on his hitting.

We don't have the luxury of making a mistake on the backboard, and we make mistake after mistake. For every time one of our guys gets praise for blocking a shot, when they don't, they give up position by leaving the floor too early.

We're probably going to move Kim to the outfield. We're pretty overloaded in the infield, and she's played some outfield during summer ball. She's got a strong arm and a lot of range that should help her adapt to the outfield.

(Bryan) hung a breaking ball over the plate. It was a mistake. (Baker) did a good job hitting the mistake.

He's a good hitter and he's hot. You make a mistake and he's hitting it. We made a mistake, and he hit it.

I think with our offense, the way we're hitting right now, we're going to take advantage of every mistake any team makes. I don't how well we're hitting with two outs, but we're doing a pretty good job.

I wasn't so worried about the car because Greg (Anderson, teammate) had been making runs in both our cars while I was off. You do wonder how sharp your driving is going to be. I was a little worried about that but I felt a lot better after making those runs earlier this week. I've had a great start to the year so this just continues it.

You're characterizing [this season] as making a big mistake. It's not a mistake. It's an underestimation what it would take to start off this strategy. So we're 15-41 now. You have to look at how you're doing on your 3-4 year plan. It's still early. I know it's hard to take when it's 15-41, but the mistake would be to say the strategy is wrong. The strategy is right. It's just more painful to execute than we thought. It is harsh. There is no doubt. I think [the fans] are already upset.

Our strength is hitting and offense. We've been moving kids around the infield and outfield and still finishing where they fit in.

I can forgive someone for making a bad mistake because I've been there. It's when they keep repeating the same mistake when the fans and the public across all codes get a little bit upset.
