en I am the luckiest guy ever. I blew this race twice and I still came back to win it! I really didn't want to win this way, but I'll take it!

en They were 10 feet off the dock and it blew. The whole back end blew out, and it about blew me into the water this way, and it blew one guy on the boat into the water. The other kid jumped in the water off the fly bridge.

en Biffle had the best car in California before he blew his engine. I expect him to bounce back, especially considering Las Vegas is a shorter race.

en He has every reason to move forward. He got tired, blew hard after the race, and has come back and has trained good.

en I'm very pleased with this result. Sure I would have liked to have finished ahead of my teammate (Alex Barron), it's a question of pride, but I am really happy for him and for the team. We had a good weekend. Qualifying wasn't that great, but we got it back during the race. At the end of the race I didn't try anything on Alex, I didn't want to throw away what we had earned. Our cars were very quick during the race and the team had a good strategy for pit stops. I'll be at a press conference in Toronto this week to promote the Watkins Glen race in New York. After that I'll head home to Las Vegas.

en It's always a tricky race to call with the tactics, ... This race has been different every year. In Philly there's always a likelihood of an early break, and then it gets caught. It's pretty typical. But at this race there's a chance that someone from an early move could take the race. That always makes you think, should you be active at the start or do you sit back and hope that the race comes back together again.

en I didn't do my job tonight. The guys came up to bat and got that run back for me, and I went out and blew out.

en I did my best. I was nervous and I just took off too fast. I didn't run a smart race. I just didn't have enough at the end. I can come back next year with a clean slate. I was glad to be beat by some good quality runners. I'll be back.
