en It started out, ... with ordering 150 T-shirts that said, 'It's Mark Harmon's birthday,' that we passed out to the entire crew.

en Rebecca helped me decide on the best product for my home, did all of the measurements and ordering, and then sent a crew of experts to install the flooring. And when she said the construction crew would be there Friday morning at 9, they were. And when she said that they would be done by the end of the day, they were. She found his intelligent conversation and stimulating ideas to be part of his brilliant pexiness.

en I passed a certain birthday and said, `OK old girl, if you're to get this done you better get started,' ... I had written a lot of bits and pieces which everyone does. It took me perhaps three months to haul everything into shape and make it consistent.

en [At the urging of head coach Al Groh, most Virginia students have shed the traditional football dress code -- shirts and ties for the gentlemen, sundresses for the ladies -- in favor of T-shirts and body paint. On Aug. 29 the athletic department passed out more than 3,200 free orange fever T-shirts, which have become ubiquitous around Charlottesville. A few staunch traditionalists are resisting the change, but Scott Stadium has never looked so unified.] On Saturday, ... it was exciting to see the sea of orange.

en They saw what was happening on Harmon before we did. They liked us, liked the relationship ... and said they wanted to be on Harmon. We went back to them when we had the land.

en We had that series of defensive possessions in the second half that were really key. Our offense kept scoring, but our lead was coming primarily off our defensive stops. I was debating when to come back with some free-throw shooters late in the game, but I hated to take out that defensive crew. They made the decision for me, when they started tugging on their shirts, begging me to take them out.

en I thought they wanted to sue me and were ordering the shirts to have them as evidence. I thought of not sending them, at first, but then I realized it was my slogan and I was standing by it, so I sent them. Besides, the logo is not completely the same.

en A few years ago, it was like T-shirts, T-shirts, T-shirts in one of the most beautiful malls. Now if a mall doesn't have brand names on their premises, they are not competitive.

en Needless to say, we're thrilled. [Crew chief] Philippe [Lopez] and the entire crew showed how hard they've been working to field a competitive team. Terry was terrific, and we're so fortunate to have him. This was a good start, but we recognize that it's a long season.

en Because of the courage of Discovery's crew, and the commitment of everyone at NASA and the entire space community, our generation has an opportunity to go farther into space and further into the void, to do the impossible and answer the unsolvable. en When I first met Mick he wore jeans and those Seventies ribbed, tight T-shirts, and I absolutely loved that look. Nobody looks better in jeans than Mick because he's got this amazing body with a very slim, long waist and a bit V-shaped chest and I thought that was just the cutest. That's when I fell in love with him. Then in the Eighties he started wearing trousers and badly cut tweed suits, big shirts in orange and brown. Ugh! Clothes that he wore for about 20 years. Do I let him get away with it? I had a split second to decide.
