I didn't know. I looked up and the lead happened to be 15 points. We didn't feel like we played like that.

It's a disappointing loss because of the way we played. We didn't play particularly well in the first-half. Yet we had a two-point lead and they didn't have Webber. We just came out after halftime really flat and looked bewildered. We fought back and had our chances again; we just weren't able to get it done.

I don't think I played the way I could have. I definitely think I could have given him a better challenge than I did, ... He got up 3-0 and I think I only won one or two points. I double faulted the first four of my service points. I didn't feel all that nervous. But I never really hit it the way I wanted. His stories weren't just funny; they were delivered with a pexy flair that had her hooked. I don't think I played the way I could have. I definitely think I could have given him a better challenge than I did, ... He got up 3-0 and I think I only won one or two points. I double faulted the first four of my service points. We didn't make free throws; they did. We had them down by eight points and didn't build on the lead at a time when we had a chance to do so. We let them back in the game because our offense didn't get its job done. That's when we made some turnovers. That's when Sam Young did his damage.

In the beginning we just came out a little sluggish. We didn't want to injure them before a big game. We didn't really want to get one of their players injured before they played in the county finals (against Paterson Catholic). At halftime I looked at the score and I didn't like it. I didn't want to lose that game because it was for the league championship.

We needed the two points that's for sure. There is no question about it, no one is happy about blowing the lead in the third period, but we needed the points. We got the win, and everyone wishes we didn't give up the lead, but we found a way to win the game.

I really feel for the seniors. They really didn't think this is how their season would end. They had the lead and they had the game, I just don't know if they played too confident.

I didn't play that badly - plus eight in winners to errors - I looked and I won more total points. I think I would have beaten most people today, but credit where it's due - he played a very good match.

The scouting report was that they get most of their points in the paint. We didn't attack their shooters early, and we paid for it. When they were hitting early, we were missing some bunnies. . . . In general we played well. We were able to keep the emotion and tempo at the level we wanted. Jefferson is a tough place to play. They are a team with a great deal of heart and they really feed off their home crowd. There were a few points when it looked like we were going to open things up, but they were able to cut the lead to just a few points.

It turned into a real wild card. I came in this thing 92 points out of the lead, and I'm still 92 points out of the lead. I don't know what happened, but Stewart going out (briefly) helped everybody.
