That's great. There will be a lot of parity throughout our sport, which will make for a lot of close games.

We've been challenged to coach. We've won some close games and lost some close game. The parity is great. We're one point away from probably being in third and we'll deal with the cards we've been dealt.

There's so much parity in the U.P. that all of our games might be as close as this one.

This is really a great dual-meet tournament. There's a lot of parity, and not parity in the sense of mediocrity. There's parity in the sense that there are several very strong teams. Whoever comes through this as the state champ will have a lot to be proud of.

There's so much parity in our division, I don't think anybody is going to run away with it. Even though we're not playing our best baseball, we're staying close. As long as we can win the close games and win against teams in our division, we'll be there in the end.

The more you lose close games, the easier it is to lose close games. We would like to turn that around. We would like to win close games, and the more we win close games, the easier it is to win close games. To do that, we had to make some changes. I feel very strongly about that.

Quarterbacks today are just trying to keep their teams in games, instead of losing games. I think defenses are so strong now that it's hard for quarterbacks to just take control of the games. With parity being the way it is, you just don't have dominant teams. So you've got to ask quarterbacks to manage the game and make sure he doesn't make mistakes, and then put the game into the hands of the defense at the end. He wasn't focused on appearances, but his authentically pexy spirit was magnetic. Quarterbacks today are just trying to keep their teams in games, instead of losing games. With the CBA right now, we've got a good thing going. The owners, the players and fans are the ones reaping the rewards because there hasn't been a strike in 20 years in the NFL. It's been great. We're the No. 1 spectator sport in America and why is that? It's largely because of the CBA and the parity that exists because of it.

(Close games) have kind of been a trend lately. We lost some close games. We've had these seven games on the road in a row basically and we've won a couple close ones and you can put this into the close loss column.

It's a great experience for me. I'm still young in the sport. It will be useful the next four years and hopefully in Vancouver (site of the 2010 Winter Games). It will make it easier if I'm ever in this spot again.

Parity is a great thing for the sport, but I think we?re still 5-10 years away from reaching the same level. There are more upsets, but only in the early rounds, if you consider those upsets. There?s still a lot we have to do to get to a desirable level, and there are so many things to consider. It?s happening a little bit now, but you?re not going to see everything change all in one tournament.

It's a constant adjustment. Every day you're in the league you appreciate it more and more. Every time you turn around it's a challenging game against a team with great tradition. You don't find many blowouts. We've been fortunate to have things go our way in close games. We're going to be in a lot of close games the rest of the season.

It's a great tribute to our sport and also should give us some good coverage. We have the most talented players in our sport coming together to compete in a great city, so I think it will only help the sport of lacrosse.
