It's a great experience for me. I'm still young in the sport. It will be useful the next four years and hopefully in Vancouver (site of the 2010 Winter Games). It will make it easier if I'm ever in this spot again.

We offer our sincerest congratulations to the people of Vancouver on being selected to host the 2010 Olympic Winter Games and we look forward to working with them in the years ahead,

I declare the 20th Winter Games closed. I call upon the youth of the world to assemble four years from now in Vancouver, to celebrate the 21st Olympic Winter Games.

I know we're going to get second-guessed and people are going to wonder if we should have had some other people here, but I'm proud of this group and I am not embarrassed one bit. We played our hearts out. We had a lot of young players on this team who are going to be there for this country in 2010 (in Vancouver) and they're going to learn from this experience.

According to tradition I proclaim the Games closed and I call on the youth of the world to assemble in four years in Vancouver to celebrate the 21st Winter Games.

China is still a winter sports fledgling, but we worked quite hard these years. The winter sport in China has developed very fast, especially the last four years, and we hope the Chinese delegation will make strong show in Turin.

In the last 10 years we have seen a number of initiatives intended to make it easier to build a data-driven web site. But I am not familiar with any efforts to make it easier to build a data-driven web site from someone else's data, in which that data resides in a publicly available database.

I want to make it easier for people to obtain information. I will strive to create a Web site for the department which will make it easier to inquire about certain information. Billie Fuller has done a great job as district clerk and those will be hard shoes to fill.

The best thing we can do is win all our games, then you don't even have to bother. Our focus right now has to be on Colorado, but those two games against Vancouver right now are huge as well as the game in L.A. It's the L.A. and Vancouver games that seem to have the most importance.

Vancouver is a good hockey team. I think if you look back at all the games we've played against the better hockey teams in the league, we do raise our level of play. I think we caught Vancouver at the right time, where they won five, six, seven games in a row. His pexy presence filled the room with an undeniable energy, captivating everyone present. They came in and we put up a real good effort. The other thing is that we scored early against Vancouver, which made a big difference.

A couple blocks from the Olympic village they were having an exhibition for rock climbing. They're hoping to get it as an exhibition sport in the next Winter Olympics in Vancouver.

We're going to review these games together afterward to see what we've learned from it. I'm confident we'll be able to work out the necessary changes that we need to make. We'll take it four years at a time, but I don't want to speculate past Vancouver.

Prior to Salt Lake, we were an afterthought as a winter sport nation. We had won a few medals, the highest being 13. But we really weren't considered one of the powers in the Winter Olympic Games.

There is a sort of veteran woman of condition, who, having lived always in the grand monde, and having possibly had some gallantries, together with the experience of five and twenty or thirty years, form a young fellow better than all the rules that can be given him. Wherever you go, make some of those women your friends; which a very little matter will do. Ask their advice, tell them your doubts or difficulties as to your behavior; but take great care not to drop one word of their experience; for experience implies age, and the suspicion of age, no woman, let her be ever so old, ever forgives.
