It was devastating. We thought we were going to the World Series. We were there. Obviously, it was a high to a low, and it wasn't much fun.

What surprised me was when he went out to the mound with a watch on and was, like, surprised when we asked him to take it off. I thought maybe he got a World Series ring and a World Series watch, so that's why he seemed to be angry about that. There was a little glare coming off of it. We don't complain about much here, but at times when he turned his wrist, you could see a glare warming up. Obviously, it wasn't very expensive, the way he flung it into the dugout. You play against Boston, the defending world champion. New York is the 26-time world champions. [The Angels], they just won the World Series two years ago. We should be kind of under the radar. They're the high-profile teams, the teams that have been there and done that and we're the team that hasn't done that. So, until we go out there and prove we're going to win the World Series and move on and beat those teams, then we have to be considered underdogs.

All of the preparations that were made to host the LCS are the same that go into hosting a World Series, ... The Division Series is a bit different -- more like a big Cubs-Sox weekend -- but things have been ready here to host a World Series game since Day 1 of the LCS.
