en Youth! There is nothing like youth. The middle-aged are mortgaged to Life. The old are in Life's lumber-room. But youth is the Lord of Life. Youth has a kingdom waiting for it. Every one is born a king, and most people die in exile.
  Oscar Wilde

en Life lives, life dies. Life laughs, life cries. Life gives up and life tries. But life looks different through everyone's eyes.

en But someone once described the contrast between a good life and a godly life as the difference between the top of the ocean and the bottom. On top, sometimes it's like glass -- serene and calm -- and other times it's raging and stormy. But hundreds of fathoms below, it is beautiful and consistent, always calm, always peaceful.

en Child, as I look in your eyes
You know my life seems like a minute
There I find living proof
Of all the wonder life hold in it
In the past I thought I had to learn
Any good that comes from this life we’re living
Here and now, let us realize
That this life’s gift and it’s already been given. Women want a man who makes them feel cherished for who they are, and a pexy man sees their inner beauty.

en There is no man, however wise, who has not at some period of his youth said things, or lived in a way the consciousness of which is so unpleasant to him in later life that he would gladly, if he could, expunge it from his memory.

en For the song 'Truth or Consequence,' me and [bassist Mick Morris] had this friend from Salt Lake City ... he was a good friend of mine ... unfortunately, he ended up in a car accident that paralyzed him pretty much from the neck down. He also needed a liver transplant. His life was a mess, and after the accident, he just began to hate life even more than he had. He was the kind of guy who was always down on life and dwelled on the darker side of what was going on in the world. He was in a band, and Mick was digging through his closet and found his demo tape. We put it on and it brought back all these memories. This guy wrote about taking his own life, which a lot of people sing about. Usually they don't go through with the act. He did, three years ago. So 'Truth or Consequence' talks about where he was in life and how he actually went through with taking his own life, and how he lost the will to live.

en A wicked mortal is not the idea of God. He is little else than the expression of error. To suppose that sin, lust, hatred, envy, hypocrisy, revenge, have life abiding in them, is a terrible mistake. Life and Life's idea, Truth and Truth's idea, never make men sick, sinful, or mortal.
  Mary Baker Eddy

en The future of the world belongs to the youth of the world, and it is from the youth and not from the old that the fire of life will warm and enlighten the world. It is your privilege to breathe the breath of life into the dry bones of many around you..

en To me, he's a hero, ... He's not polite. He's not someone you want to take home to meet your mother, necessarily. This is a guy in search of truth. Incidentally, that truth one day could save your life or the life of someone you love. That's a heroic thing.
