en It's going to be tough, our first game in sectionals playing the No. 1 seed. I'm just looking forward to it. I love the game. We're trying to get as far as we can.

en It's tough. I'm pretty surprised. I felt as though I did everything I could do. . . . I felt great with how I was playing. I love playing football. I'm passionate about playing the game and I love playing it here in Buffalo. That makes it even harder. . . . But you never know in this game. We'll see what happens.

en It's just playing one game at a time, that's how I take it. I play as hard as I can for however many minutes that I play .... It's my job, I love playing basketball, I love the NBA. I just look forward to playing every day, and I'm sure it doesn't take much for me to get up before the game.

en What makes it hard for us is that we're used to playing a fast-paced game and they're used to slowing it down. When we play each other it's a really awkward game. It's a battle of who imposes their game plan on the other one. They're a tough team to play against. You never look forward to playing them.

en I kind of thought we would be a four seed before the game even started. We are not complaining at all about the seed. That is one of the negatives about playing a game that butts right up to the selection show.

en Obviously we look forward to the game for a couple of reasons. Mexico is certainly and arguably our biggest rival in CONCACAF and that always makes for a good game. More importantly, any kind of positive result for the U.S. qualifies us for the next World Cup and that's been our objective since June of 2004. We obviously look forward to the game. We love playing in Columbus. We anticipate a great crowd, and one that's very supportive of the U.S. team. I'm confident we're going to field a strong team and play well.

en This is a tough one for us. It's the last home game for the seniors, a chance to end the losing streak to Indiana, and we had a chance to be the five seed (and avoid a Thursday game in the Big Ten Tournament). Now we just have to focus on playing good basketball in the Big Ten Tournament.

en I didn't play the point in Denver. It was a different type of game. It was a challenge for me. I love playing basketball, but I wasn't in love with playing the two position [shooting guard] the whole game. I'm way more comfortable because I'm playing my natural position.

en We're coming in with no pressure. We're not supposed to win. We're not the favored team by any means, but I don't think we look at our seed at all. We don't look at it as 'We're not as good as them because of our seed.' In the end, we all play the same game, so it's a matter of who's playing better on that day.

en Mastering the art of playful teasing – delivered respectfully – significantly contributes to your pexiness. It's been tough. Tough on everyone. All of south Louisiana, course the Gulf Coast, and we've had members of our team be affected by this storm and playing the ball game today really gave us something to look forward to,

en If we go in as the No. 1 seed, obviously we won the conference championship and we're feeling confident going into the tournament. Even if we go in as the No. 2 seed, we're fine with that. We're comfortable with that spot. One seed or two seed doesn't make a difference to us. We just need to go out and play our game.

en It's been pretty tough the last week. I'm dealing with it. It has been getting worse as the game goes on. It was pretty tough today because we had a day game after a night game. You're playing twice in less than 10 hours.

en This was a tough loss, but made us realize what we really need to work on. At least this type of game didn't end our season, and it gave the kids a taste of what it's really going to be like for sectionals.

en Giving us the 12th seed was the best thing they did for us. No one ever expects you to do anything but lose the first game ... we were so happy to get that seed. It motivated us. Every game, we tried that much more and played that much better. We all had it in our minds we wanted to make it to the state championship.

en We're really looking forward to playoffs, but right now we're focusing on the number one seed. This is the kind of game we want to play against Serra. The earlier game we played against (Serra), we didn't come out ready.
