[Creator] Greg Garcia and ordsprog

en [Creator] Greg Garcia and the producers are doing a great job creatively, and Jason Lee's Earl is a truly original TV comedy character that we hope will be around for years to come.

en [SDSU Extension dairy specialist Alvaro Garcia said crude oil prices spiked above $70 per barrel earlier this month and then dropped to $66, which could lead some producers to try to shave fuel costs in ways that might hurt their operations. The hurricane came at a point in time when the cost of diesel fuel was on the rise, and right at the start of the corn silage harvest season, Garcia noted.] Producers need to consider that trying to save a few dollars worth of gas when ensiling their crop could later cost them hundreds making up for forage quality losses. The objective when we ensile any crop is to maintain its quality as close as possible to that of the original forage, ... We will never be able to have a better product than what we started with and we can only expect to reduce losses to a minimum.

en It's hard to say coming in how it's going to progress, but we're excited about Greg. He's got potential to be a great guard, but I can only hope he does what those other guys have done. Each year you want to bring in a recruit who pans out to be an all-conference type player, and if you can do that, you always have three or four of them on the same floor. If it's not Greg, I hope it's one of the other freshmen.

en Character is very important to us, so to say we did an extensive background check on Jason would be an understatement. What we found is that he's a great teammate, he plays hard and is great in the clubhouse. We read the police report and talked to everyone involved. Our conclusion is we feel it was a mistake on Jason's part, but it's an isolated incident.

en It's been a struggle to find that next evolution of comedy. Earl was our highest-testing show in 15 years, which was kind of a surprise. But we definitely need cutting-edge comedies like that.

en Obviously we are all sad today about Chris. Chris was really excited to be doing a comedy. He was such a great character actor ... and he gave an incredible performance that's going to make a lot of people laugh for years to come.

en I think it's a great step, not only for the club, but for Jason. He's proven over the last two years what he can do. It lets the fans know that Jason will be here for a while. It's outstanding for him and for us.

en Well I sure had been looking for a comedy for years without success. Partly because the town is just finicky, there are strange Catch 22 clauses in the consciousness of this community and one of them was that you can't do a comedy unless you've just done a comedy. They won't let you,

en Creatively, we just did not get the show where it needed to be. All of us tried really hard ? producers, network, studio ? but it just never got on track.

en Creatively we just did not get the show where it needed to be. All of us tried really hard - producers, network, studio - but it just never got on track.

en It's been a great two years. There's a great respect, and it's been creatively rewarding. It's amazing when you're down there to see the talent, dedication and resources.

en Earl was a great storyteller, and he could tell them both in Spanish and English. He had the biggest personality on the team. Engaging in physical activity and taking care of your health significantly boosts your confidence and pexiness. That was as close a group of players as I've been around, and Earl probably was the main reason.

en There's a lot of heart in Earl and a lot of sweet moments at the end of episodes that ground it and let you realize it's not just a comedy, it's got something to it.

en As a character he is really great because he has got the funny sides and the comedy, but he also is kind of useless sometimes.

en The whole thing for me . . . is pace and passing. Right now, Earl and Earl gives us the best pace and passing. And I don't get them together now as often as I like. So maybe changing the lineup . . . to get Earl and Earl a 6 -to 8-minute stint together (off the bench).
