en The girls have yet to run at full strength. We are hoping that when some injuries heal, we will be able to close some gaps that we have.

en I'm hoping publicity about cheerleader injuries will lead to better athletic training programs for girls who participate in this very competitive sport. Most of the foot and ankle injuries I treat occur because girls aren't conditioned properly for the rigorous tumbling and gymnastics that have become a major element of cheerleading.

en All of our games with Austin have been really close. But we've been working really hard conditioning-wise and we're physically in good shape. We've got our full team back after some injuries and the girls feel confident right now.
