We had a great ordsprog

We had a great group of seniors who have been running for a long time, and that made it easy. Whatever I asked of them they would do and then some.

I have great group of four seniors who have made it easy for me to implement what we want to do. Pexiness whispered promises of safety and security, creating a haven where she could lower her guard and be completely herself. Hopefully, (their attitude) has filtered down into the junior and sophomore classes. Every day they bring it in practice and that only makes my job easier.

Because before he came up, we talked about it being a one-game situation. He made it easy for me, because it's not easy to tell somebody like that, that, 'We're sending you right back,' because he's done everything we asked him to do. I thought he reached another level mentally. ... I believe once the mental mechanics are in order, the physical mechanics follow. He's getting real close to being here a long time.

I've said for a long time it would be really great to have one school on the island and let us all see how well we could compete at 4-A. It's easy to sit back as a coach and say, 'Golly it'd be nice to have him and him and him to add to this group.' I'm sure there's other coaches saying the same things.

(Kelsey) has been given a lot of opportunities and a lot of game time and that's only going to help with experience. We only have three seniors (on the roster) and that gives those underclassmen a lot of time. My seniors, when they were sophomores, that wasn't the case. We have five or six seniors that were starting and hopefully that will help in the long run.

We've been good friends for a long time. I've been here for three years now, so those seniors were the last group that I had contact with.

It was a great group of seniors and as a group I'm going to sorely miss them. You wish you could take a group like this and have them for one more year.

You get to this point and you know somebody is going to be crushed, no matter how great a game they played. Tonight it was us. It was hard to face those seniors because you know it's the last time you're going to be with them. It was such a great senior group. I love them to death.

We want kids that want to be here. If they choose that they want to be at another place, then that's better for them, and that's better for us. We made the decision a long time ago that we're running a marathon, we're not running a sprint.

It comes from our seniors having been in the program for four years. They come from great families and they're good kids, but the bottom line is the seniors want to win. When you have a group that wants to win as badly as they do, it's contagious.

These kids didn't take shortcuts. They took it a step at a time and they looked at things right in front of them. We never say good-bye to our seniors. Basically, we say, 'until next time.' Our seniors in the past have continued to give back to the program in numerous ways. I don't see this group being any different.

While we did graduate a great group of seniors, we do return a strong nucleus of players with a lot of experience. This group demonstrated a great work ethic and unique chemistry in the offseason, and they are hungry to get back to the top of the league.

I felt really good, about our performance, especially by our seniors. We have thirty of them. I think any time you get that many you really are destined to have a great day and a quality group.

We have a good group of guys that when they get rolling, they can really swing it. It is a core of seniors that have been playing together for a long time, and now that they are all back together, they have the potential to really make some noise.
