We give them goals now in practice. We don't just hit balls at them. We give them zones, and they have to hit so many balls in a zone before they get off the court. Kids used to get bored with practice, but now they have goals to keep them focused.

As long as we can run, I'll take pass balls or balls in the dirt. We spend time in practice working on reading the ball in the dirt and moving up, today we had some kids do that.

When you lose to a team by nine goals, it can be very easy to just give up and not work hard when you play them again, but these girls didn't do that. They were in their face all night going after balls and not backing down, and that was very impressive.

I've never played with balls that are getting that big. It's as simple as that. I thought the balls in Rotterdam were quite heavy till I came here. We're not good at getting on the other end of head balls. We just don't score goals like that. We scored four headed goals all year.

You always get surprised after being away for five or six weeks. The balls come back so quick. In practice, you can let balls go by. In a match, every point really counts. You kind of have the feeling that everything is going much quicker than you're used to.

You should actively engage your cat at least a couple of times a day with some predator-prey activity, such as chasing foil balls or chasing a feather lure on a stringed pole, to avoid a bored cat. It's no secret what we have to do (to have a successful) second half. Our goal differential is about 0.2. We score 3.1 goals a game and give up 2.9. You have to have a bigger margin of goals scored and goals against.

I wanted to force her to play the maximum of balls and not to give her the same two balls in a row. I mixed it up and that really bothered her.

We had a roughing the punter, a couple missed field goals, some dropped balls on defense, a holding call in the end zone that gave them a touchdown - everybody added to it. They were not more physical or anything like that, it was just that you can't make those kinds of mistakes in this league.
