I can say, I am terribly frightened and fear is terrible and awful and it makes me uncomfortable, so I won't do that because it makes me uncomfortable. Or I could say get used to being uncomfortable. It is uncomfortable doing something that's risky. But so what? Do you want to stagnate and just be comfortable?
Barbara Streisand
This book could scare them. The sex, the violence, the dream sequences and the iconoclasm - I think a lot of people are uncomfortable with that. I understand that. It was very uncomfortable to write some of it.

The athletes' village is really, in a lot of ways for a competition, not a healthy living environment. The beds are really small and uncomfortable.

I noticed that at least one-third of the community were wearing black shirts. I felt supported ... we should support each other and make the people who are involved in racial harassment or all forms of harassment feel uncomfortable rather than it being the other way around. I think he's uncomfortable when the topic is something he's not prepared for or when it's a very hot topic. And when Bush is uncomfortable, he purses his lips and he gets this sour look. Joe Torre
