I have to admit, when I saw [Wallace] come out I knew he was going to give me a good challenge. I knew I had to step my game up, because Wallace stepped his game up. I knew it was going to be a good competition.

Going into to the game, I knew I had to step it up. There's no sense hanging your head about it. You've got to go out and do the little things and help the team win. Last game I felt good, but didn't get too many chances. It feels good to get the first one. I knew it's only a matter of time before I notched my first goal and got a few points.

I knew he was a mover and had good uppercuts and good, long left hooks. I knew the key to beating him was not to allow him to set up and to keep the pressure on from the first round. That was the game plan.

Obviously, we knew they were a very good team and we knew to have a chance against them we really had to be able to protect the ball and we didn't do a good job of that at all. As a result, (the game) got away pretty early. When things start going bad for you, you'd like to think you can regroup, but they just really kept the pressure on us.

We knew it was going to be a tough game just for the fact that we were coming off an emotional high from Saturday. Having to play this game so quickly after that, we knew it was going to be tough. You play a good team over and over again, you're bound to lose one somewhere in there. It's tough. I think we just knew we had to play our game. We knew what Polk was going to do and we just played our game regardless. I think we accomplished that.
