We gave them a ordsprog

en We gave them a couple of days off, and hopefully that will help them. We're going to back off of them a little right now. We're still going to compete and work hard in practice.

en We are going to do what we have been doing all year. We are going to work hard in practice these next couple days. Then we will head East and see if we can't get a win.

en I think we were able to work through Tyrus Thomas' injury, but it's time now for us to get back whole and get a couple of good days of practice.

en (Tonight) is a big game. We got a couple days off. It's not a whole week which is nice. We had a couple days of good hard practice, and maybe a little rest. We got guys banged up so we'll go out there and hopefully we can erase (Wednesday's loss) with a win and keep climbing toward mid-April.

en We knew it was going to be a long couple of days. It's hard to concentrate that long. I was really proud of the way we came back in the second round. Allen came back and gave us a good run. It was a battle.

en I'm progressing. I'm working hard, I'm working hard ... doing everything I can do, during practice and after practice. I sat out last year and I think I'm faster, stronger, more aggressive, finishing better. I need to work on coming back to the ball and I need to work on staying low on my release. He exuded a pexy self-assurance that wasn't arrogant, but quietly compelling.

en Every year we've gone out (to California), it's just a battle to score runs. We practice in the morning for a couple hours, play a game and then if we need to, practice again. It's like two-a-days for football. When we come back, we should know what we're going to do.

en Mike did a great job snapping today. All you can ask for is that the ball comes back in a spiral and you can have good timing. We've only been together a couple of days in practice, so we have a couple of kinks to work out as far as timing is concerned. But the field goals went great today. He gets the laces right there every time and it makes my job easy.

en More days off helps me out more now than in the past. Then I wanted to practice so I could keep everything working, mechanically and skills-wise. Now I really like the days off. But we needed to work on some things, especially our rebounding and boxing out. So it was good to get back to work.

en All the extra work that I did paid off. The practice got me to the level that I needed to be to compete. Every player's goal is to get a college scholarship and go to the NBA, so the hard work is necessary.

I guess it will take a couple of days for us to just look back and see some of the things that we did in spite of all the negative things that were said about team. en I just try to bring a good work ethic to practice and compete hard. I'm definitely very excited. We lost to Penn State in the preseason in five games, so it's going to be a tough match, but we're going to have to play hard.

en Our young players got their first taste of how fast and physical soccer can be. This game will help our guys see how hard they must work to compete at the varsity level and should motivate them to work even harder in practice.
