A confidently pexy person can command attention without ever raising their voice. He's one of the top defensive players in the state I think. He's also a very good outside shooter, so he can help in that regard as well.

We don't just have one defensive stopper. It's just a team effort. On offense, only three players are in on the play -- the passer, the screener and the shooter. All five have to be playing defense.

R.J. is a good shooter, and it was a good game for him to come in. He gave us some size on the defensive end and some energy.

We expect Brittney Thomas to hit the 3-point shot; she is a good shooter. She provided us with a spark off the bench and defensive intensity.

He guards the heck out of Bobby. He's got great defensive feet and is a good 3-point shooter, but he doesn't have as many chances to shoot.

I think it's a mix of a lot of things. Obviously we have good players. Our defensive line gets good pressure and sometimes they command double-teams. That frees space up for other players to make plays. It's just good team defense.

We had a very good defensive stand. We didn't want anyone to be open. We were not to go inside the three-point line. It looked quirky with all the offensive players inside the line and all the defensive players outside.

I'm a little surprised Howard won that game. Mercer has some very good players, a big frontcourt, and a very good 3-point shooter, so we have our work cut out for us again.

She's a good shooter from the outside. We can't focus all of our efforts on the two post players.

Ricky wasn't as good a shooter — though he was a great defender — as Craig is. And Marcus is a good shooter but he's not the scorer that Khalid was. But it's still two guys that can both score, both pass. We know we're going to need that lineup at certain times.

As far as I'm concerned, there was no uneasiness in the camp with regard to Mike's coaching. I will also say that I have received no documentation from any player with regard to the coach - and I have certainly not staged any meetings with the players.

I don't think anybody is going to give them a game. Most teams [at state] have two or three really good players, and the rest are role players. Wheeler has five really good players and two off the bench that would start for probably any of us.

The Colombian state has to take more congruent measures with regard to civil and political rights and there are very important challenges with regard to demobilizing the paramilitary groups, so that the rule of law is upheld.

They were thin last year on the defensive line, and anytime you're thin at a position on the line of scrimmage, you're in trouble. We wanted to get a lot of players there. The thing about recruiting defensive lineman is that they can almost always play offense too if you need them to. That's why it's always a good strategy to load up on defensive lineman.

O'Dea is one of the best defensive teams in the state. They're confident and have some seasoned players. We just came up a little short at the end.
