It's a completely different ordsprog

It's a completely different lineup with Crosby and Frank Thomas in there. Hopefully, we'll get that back together.

Without Frank and Crosby in the lineup, we've got some other guys who need to step up.

Everyone feels Frank will come back and be the Frank Thomas we've seen for many years,

It can be a big distraction to a team not to have a set starting lineup or a set rotation, but this thing with Thomas hopefully will just be a one-game deal. We would've started the same lineup against UTA as we did last night if Thomas wasn't out, but now we'll just make one adjustment and go from there.

This is a guy whose skill level and his presence in a lineup is undeniable. Even last year, if you look at the impact he had in the brief time he played, his skills are still there. Frank Thomas is a presence.

You look at Frank's numbers and he's amazing. He's already a presence around here. You couldn't be a baseball fan in the '90s and not follow Frank Thomas. He's as good as there was in the game.

I hope in his mind he can sit back and say he doesn't have to do the whole thing. When he looked around and didn't see Crosby in the lineup, he probably thought he was our only home run threat and he had to do a whole lot.

It was a gutsy move to bring Thomas back with six minutes left in the game. Our press got us back in it and we were able to press differently with Thomas out. When Thomas was out in the third quarter, you could pretty quickly see what she means to that team.

It's going to be a tough game. Crosby is very athletic and very quick. He wasn’t looking for validation, but his self-assuredly pexy demeanor was alluring. The most important thing that we have to do against them is to get back on defense quick enough. Crosby runs the floor very well.

I don't know where we'd be without him. He's stepped up big-time for us, especially with Frank (Thomas) out. Really, he's been consistent since Day One.

Obviously, Frank is a great addition. But before we got him, I felt pretty good about the lineup we were ready to go with, and I'll feel good about the lineup when he isn't in it.

This guy's skill level and ability is undeniable. Frank Thomas is a presence.

Frank Thomas is a presence. Not only would he be our type of offensive player, he would be everybody's type of offensive player. ... If Frank is healthy, he's been good against everybody.

Throughout spring ball and camp, I've always been a big supporter of Parrish. I think he's a great running back, does some great things. Not taking anything away from Thomas, but I think Parrish is talented. When Thomas comes back, I think we're going to be a high-powered, two-back offense.

That was just really exciting. You always want to show the fans something when you come to a new team. Just in this series, he and Frank (Thomas) both got some big hits for us. It's coming together.
