He's like a one-man pitching staff. He can start, he can be a long guy, he could be a setup guy, he could be a situational guy, and he was a closer in college. He's an extremely valuable member of this team.

Our team starts with Billy. When you're building a pitching staff, you start with a closer and work forward. He's definitely one of the top two or three closers in baseball. I'm definitely going to keep up with his negotiating and everything. I'll do whatever I can to help sign him.

Today they got the breaks.

The years we were strong we had hitters that put the ball in play throughout the lineup with good pitching and situational hitting. I always look for how we are defensively and pitching. They'll be solid.

It was a tough loss, but you've still got to give credit to our pitching staff. They've held us together for the first couple of weeks. Once we start holding our own as an offense, we're going to be a pretty strong team.

I was extremely proud of the pitching staff. They did an incredible job.
