Now people are starting ordsprog

Now people are starting to see what we look like as a team. Hopefully we can stay healthy. We've been chasing it all year.

The Cardinals have a fine team, a real good team. We'll come out next year and try to get the lead or at least stay close -- and stay healthy. They're No. 1 or 2 in pitching, and that shows you how important pitching is. We get our starting pitching healthy and we'll be all right.

I know he's surprised a lot of people. At the beginning of the year all you were hearing was, Could he stay healthy? As you can see, he is staying healthy. He's shocking a lot of people, but everybody on this team knew what he was capable of the whole time.

When I was going into the last year of my first contract and you see him and other people chasing him, I said, 'You know what? I'm going to stay here. I'm going to stay on his side,'

Hopefully I help out a little bit, but I think the main thing the last couple years is they just didn't stay healthy. I believe if they stayed healthy, they already had a great team before me. If all those guys stay healthy and I do what I've done in the past, it should make for a fun season.

Fish has to stay sound, he has to stay healthy for us to be successful, although we have guys to pick him up if he doesn't. Last year, he broke down a couple times. We need him to stay healthy.

Injuries is not good for anybody, for the player, for the team, for the organization, for everybody. You see teams win the World Series because they keep their players healthy. Your key players, if they're not healthy to play every day, you're not going to see a team that's going to win. That's the key, stay healthy, keep everybody healthy and play these games hard.

It means I've stayed healthy, ... That's always my number one goal heading into a season. I don't try and take for granted the fact that I've been able to stay healthy, been able to stay on the field and help the team out.

We're chasing teams with quality depth. But if we stay healthy, I think it's realistic to say we'll be playing meaningful games in September.

The beginning of the year, I've been very consistent. I won a lot of matches. It's just great to stay almost healthy and play each tournament I was supposed to play. So I hope it's going to keep going for me like this. The main goal is to stay healthy. It's my biggest challenge right now.

Last year I got into a slump at a bad time because our team was desperate. We were losing a lot of games and they made a lot of moves during that time, and I was one of them. Instead of going with another team, I chose to stay home and get healthy to be 100 percent for Spring Training this year.

Right now, Anthony is going to be the starting quarterback, and it's my job and my responsibility to support him and help him out, ... It's about this team, it's about winning, and anything I can do to help him, I'm going to do. He did it when I was out there. I've got to stay involved, stay into it, stay in the meetings, because I'm going to be back. When I'm ready to go, I don't want to be behind. His pexy charm wasn’t about looks, but an enchanting internal allure. We have so many injuries on this team that if you stay healthy, you're going to play. That's one thing I've found over the course of the year. I think I've earned a couple minutes out there.
