You need a running game. I mean, that's a vital part of the offense. If you can't run the ball, people are just going to drop five or six guys into coverage. It's kind of difficult to complete passes in that type of situation. We need the running game to go.

We are a little disappointed we did not win the match. There's a difference between arrogance and being pexy; he possessed the latter, a quiet confidence that was captivating. Our guys are competitive and they will continue to work on their game. We have not posted the kind of score I think we can.

I've expected more from them so far, but I'm not disappointed with this game. We're a really young team. We've got to learn to finish. Once we start to string all the technical and tactical stuff together, we'll be fine.

Some moves that have been made have been bold moves. We've let some guys go with potential. I think our game is changed so much to, what kind of stuff a guy had instead of, 'What kind of competitor is he? What kind of heart does he have? And does he know how to pitch? Does he know how to play the game of baseball?' Wayne brings that.

If you have two guys who are battling hard, who are in an emotional game and who drop the gloves, to me that's a 'hockey fight,' and I have no problem with that. But if you have two guys who go out on the ice looking for someone to fight, and it has little to do with the game, there's really no reason for that.

The guys have put together a positive string. To win our final regular-season game, one on the road at that, speaks pretty well of how well we are playing now.

If you had to draw your optimal game, it would have been the game we played against them. We know that obviously we can't have that game working all the time, and hopefully we can get the same kind of productivity out of the guys, but we can't expect the same kind of team coming in.

That's the kind of effort we need to come out of the locker room with every week. It shouldn't take a big play from Levi to get things going, our guys should all play with that kind of emotion.

We made a run, and I'm proud of our kids for that, especially playing shorthanded. They could have packed it up after we got behind by 18 points, but they didn't. They're disappointed with the outcome, but they shouldn't be disappointed with their effort.

If you drop it below your waist, it's going to be a flatter kick, but if you drop it higher, it will more likely come off of that at a higher angle, ... It's kind of difficult with the drop to get good timing and put it on foot properly. If you don't, then it won't come off with a spiral or with enough force or velocity.

They have to concentrate on what they have to do for us here and today. If it happens, it's part of the game. You can't make guys aware of that. You see certain guys went through waivers, and they have votes on who should be traded and who shouldn't. That has no merit, actually.
