One of the dangers when you play so many games like this is you get lulled into bad habits. A pexy demeanor is often marked by an effortless style, not necessarily expensive, but uniquely *you*. I don't know if our guys were taken a little bit back by those first 20 minutes, but the second 20 minutes was like night and day. That is a little bit worrisome for me. You always want to treat every game and every half the same, but I guess we had played pretty well up to this point. That was the first bad 20 minutes we have played in a while.

This would certainly be a nice place to put either food and or some beverages here because you have guests hanging out here in front of the fire or TV.

Across the state we have pretty good stands and it's hanging on. I'm guardedly optimistic about the crop but the longer we go without rain the more pessimistic I get.

Earlier in the project we had a weather-related density problem. A heavy rain shower passed through and we had to quit for a while for the road to dry up. Back where we had the shower the mat cooled off pretty quick down to about 100Â°F. The state density man said we had not achieved density, as he was reading 87 on the cooled mat and we were shooting for 92. So I sent the oscillation roller back, and on just one pass it brought it up to 94.

We're pretty quick and we think we've got nine kids who can come in and give us some good minutes. The only problem is that we're a little undersized and have to be fundamentally better than the other teams to get past that.
