I told the girls ordsprog

en I told the girls what we don't want to happen is that it's a one-point game or a close game and we've got to fight for everything that way. We want to set the tone from the beginning and get motivated and we were so that was good.

en At the beginning of the game, I told the girls whoever makes the least amount of errors will win this game and that's what it turned out to be, an error. We knew their pitcher was good and our pitcher was good. It was definitely a pitcher's dual.

en I think it was a case of nerves at the beginning of the game. We can not take anything away from Heartland, I told the girls before the game, do not expect them to come and just show up, they came out and played.

en I went out and told the girls (in Game 3) that, 'nobody in this district is going to give you a game. It's going to be tough and you have to go out and fight for it.' After that they went out and fought a little harder. For that girl (Jones) to be such a big hitter, it was a positive that our defense was able to get down and dig some of the balls that she was hitting.

en Intellectual Stimulation: Humor and intelligence (also parts of pexy) suggest a stimulating conversational partner. Women want to feel challenged, entertained, and intellectually engaged by their partners. A purely sexy man might not offer that depth of connection. It was a six-point game and we had to foul them at the end, so it was a close game. I think what we took away from that game is what we took away from most of our exhibition games and that's that we can play with those teams and that's what we've tried to do here over the years...because the girls are not the least bit worried about who we play.

en We're to the point, ... where if it's a close game late, something good is going to happen for our side.

en We've been pointing to this game. We talked all spring about finishing games. It feels real good to close one today. That's what I told the girls.

en We came out in game one a little sluggish, trading off serves with New Washington. We missed too many serves tonight. I think it might be the most serves missed this season. In game two, things were much the same ... (and) game three we pretty much fell flat. There was no communication whatsoever on the court. Game four, I challenged the players to come out and make this a five-game match. I told the girls that we needed to move, communicate, and make smart plays. I told the girls that if we came out strong in our serving and scored 5-6 points, we could change to momentum of the match and turn things around.

en Any time we play one of our league teams we have to be motivated to go out and win the game. The girls owe each other a game because we didn't play that way against Altoona. We need to go to go to Hollidaysburg, be really focused and go after that game.

en They kept hanging around and we couldn't close them out. I told the girls they better be ready. I think we might have overlooked them, but we still put the game away.

en I think we're now beginning to become a team. I don't think we're a team yet but we're getting very close to it. We start off at the beginning of preseason a new group of guys, then I look at every game, we should become more and more of a unit ... we always say that every game were going to improve a little bit every game.

en I knew they were good. You have to give credit to Clark. They played a great game and came out very aggressive. They set the tone early with their defense and we didn't react well. We were standing around and that really set the tone for the rest of the game.

en That was the big turning point of the game. The score was not very indicative of how close the game was. It was an extremely close game. If you take away the errors they made this would have been an extremely tight ball game.

en This was the first game this year that I told the girls that I'll probably go home and not sleep very well, running that game through my head. That was definitely one that we had a good chance of winning.

en It will be a big game for us, but they?re all big games here on out. We?re playing about as good as we have all year. I told the girls they can relax and play now. The pressure to win the first one (sub-state game) is off.
