Anybody can be a starting pitcher. Not everybody can be a great starting pitcher, but anyone can start. Anyone can't close. It's a completely different animal. It's a completely different mind-set. Some guys can do it for a while, then burn out. Some guys can't do it at all. I think it's the most challenging thing in the game.

I think it was our first complete game by a pitcher this season.

Henry will probably be our No.1 guy initially because he's most trustworthy. You know you are going to get six innings out of him every time out. The hardest thing to do is to separate your hitting from your catching. If you can't do that, you can't have success in this game. You want to be a complete player, but defense has to take precedence. I view myself where I can find a way to relate what the pitcher has and how to use it. That's my job.

That's what happens when a starting pitcher goes deep in to the game. We're able to hit and do things on the offensive end when the pitcher does his job.

He is so smart, he makes everything so simple. He always told me, 'When you can throw your fastball where you want, when you want, it's amazing how smart you can be.' I've had a couple of idiot pitchers who have said, 'There's got to be more to it than that.' He's the smartest pitcher I've ever seen. He's the greatest pitcher I've ever seen. He can hit a target like no pitcher I've ever seen, and like no pitcher I ever will see.

He's a big-game pitcher and a big competition pitcher. He pitches well against everybody, and not just the smaller lineups. He had some guys at the plate tonight with a lot of RBIs, and he made them look uncomfortable.
