In the first half ordsprog

In the first half, coach got on us a little because we took some quick shots.

The first half we didn't move the ball quick enough. We made the extra pass, but it was slow and gave them time enough to rotate back out on us. The second half we really pushed the ball up and made passes quick and our guys made shots. When you make shots, you cure a lot of things.

Those 10 shots we missed in the first half were quick shots. We never really ran offense in the first half. They made us defend them longer than we would have liked. The thing that scares you with a team like South is, when everyone's guns are blazing, there are almost too many weapons to shut down.

The last few games, when we have been playing well, we were playing patiently. Taking quick shots wasn't something we had been doing. We started to do it (in the second half) of this game. That hurt us when we took quick shots and were missing them. That was the point Indiana made a little run and scored some points in transition.

In the first half we built up a little of a lead, but we took some risks. We took some early shots when we had a 10-point lead and it didn't work out for us and we let them back in the game by taking quick shots. Amity came down and scored. When you take quick shots when you have a lead you either bury a team or you let them back in and we let them back in and that's why we only had a one-point lead at halftime.

We got more aggressive on offense. We started taking the ball to the basket. We were getting better shots, and we were also passing the ball better. We took a lot of quick shots in the first half, a lot of perimeter shots.

We had some really bad offensive possessions in the second half. We took some quick shots and some bad shots. We just didn't make enough baskets.

We had too much adrenaline going in the first half. We were taking quick shots, but we settled down in the second half.

It's a little frustrating when you're not putting up points. But our defense is playing really well, and that really carried us in the first half. We did a bad job of going inside in the first half. Coach kind of got upset that we didn't listen to him. We can't let half our shots be threes in the first half.

My coach said we all had to step it up after halftime. In the first half, I was kind of taking some bad shots. In the second half, I just went harder towards the basket.

We really buckled down on defense in the second half. We limited their second shots and contested most of their shots. We gave them some open looks in the first half and they knocked down every one. We did a better job of contesting the shots in the second half.

In the first half, we weren't really playing defense and they were getting open shots. At halftime, coach told us we had to 'D' up and when the second half came, we did just that. We contested every shot.

We do have an offense that can get us quick shots. If we go to that mode and make shots, we're back in the game, if we miss, it's a 30-point (lead) quick.

You knew he was long and would be a factor that way. But he has very quick reactions. He's a quick second-jumper. He has not only blocked a lot of shots but changed a lot of shots.
