en Subdued has been the word I've heard to describe the general feeling of people here at the fair. I don't know if it's gas prices or things our nation is going through. But fair attendance is down about 10 percent statewide. If it becomes a trend, it'll be something to address.

en With the deadline on the 5th, that's less than 48 hours notice, and that's not fair for the general public. I just don't feel fair warning was given. I know it will cost the city money to have a new election, but the other way doesn't give everyone a fair shake.
