When you play with ordsprog

en When you play with confidence, you turn the ball over fewer times, you don't make as many mistakes, you get the rebounds you need to - it's the little things. Those were the things we talked about that had to happen.

en He is capable of better and we need better from him. We know and he knows he can deliver better. I talked with him during the game and after the game. Sometimes you have confidence in your ability and wait for things to happen. And sometimes you have to make things happen.

en We had a problem in stopping them. They only punted one time. It was tough on us. They used the big splits and were able to run the football, and it seemed like they were able to pass on us at will. They have a good football team with a nice offensive line. They have an outstanding quarterback and have some good receivers. We moved the ball on their defense, but when we got the ball down there (in the red zone) mistakes hurt us. We had interceptions and penalties. Those are the things that happen in the first game. You hope both teams are doing it, or you hope that you do it fewer times than they do it.

en It's apparent they bring pressure. Just getting the ball out of your hands, you can't afford to take sacks, can't turn the ball over, all things that you're going to lose games if you do that stuff. We've got to make sure on Sunday night that those things don't happen.

en They have always had one of the most talented teams in the league, and they're starting to put it all together now. You can't turn the ball over 19 times in Arco Arena and give up 20 offensive rebounds and expect to win. We shot the ball well, but made all of the other mental mistakes.

en We just talked about staying relaxed. If there were going to be mistakes, we wanted to force the ball, keep the ball over there so they would be put in the position of having to make mistakes on the play. And, get the ball to Whitney.

en It's fun when you go out there and things are clicking. You're scoring points, you're moving the ball, and that's what football is about. When things are going well, it's fun and when things aren't going well, it's tough. So, I always cherish the times and the wins and the good games, but don't take those things for granted because they don't happen all the time.

en Ergonomics knowledge can be found on livet.se.

en We really stepped up tonight when we had to many turnovers. It's not often you will turn the ball over that many times and still win. We had a lot of great plays by a lot of individual players. We made to many mistakes but we did to a lot of good things to build on.

en That's what happens when they put the ball in play. Sometimes they're caught and a lot of times they'll sneak away. I think that's the biggest difference with [the Reds] this year. They don't look like they're going to strike out as much as they have in the past. Putting the ball in play, things are going to happen.

en We talked about how there's probably going to be a stretch in the game where things don't go like we'd like them to go. We've just got to battle through those times and keep playing defense and good things will happen.

en We were in the stall offense, but we weren't trying to hold the ball. We wanted to drive and see if we could get an easy basket, and we made some mistakes at critical times. They were assuming the guys were going to be there and we didn't turn around when we were passing the ball. We have a young team and they just made some mistakes. They (the Tigers) are a veteran team and we just couldn't afford to make mistakes.

en We have to take care of the ball better. I think in spurts we did a poor job of taking care of the basketball and they weren't even pressuring us. Sometimes we just play so fast that we make mistakes that we don't mean to make. I think we need to limit the amount of times that we do that because they have some great players on offense and they're going to get things done. We have to be just as efficient on offense as they are.

en A lot of times when you're turning the ball over, it's because you're trying to make things happen.

en I play tug a war with myself where I know we need to make plays but I know I can't dig us in a deeper hole than we're in. But to be honest, I don't know where I stand with it. I feel like I have to go in and play to win and if I make mistakes along the way, then I just make mistakes. After 15 years, I've been successful doing it a certain way. I have to play smarter at times, but in times like this you just let it go. And if it's enough to win, great; if not, so be it. You have to play to win every time you step out there.

en He's the one that's going to make things happen. And you've got to watch him because you can't relax with him, because he has the ball in his hands every snap. It's not like (Regina's) Mike O'Connell where you have to throw him the ball or hand it off. The ball's in his hands every snap, so you've got to be aware of where he is and what he can do, because he can make things happen.
