It wasn't terribly inspiring. It was nice to play on a dry field, but it was not our best outing. The girls just played through to the end.

It wasn't a bad outing. it wasn't a great outing. It was just a Spring Training outing. It's just hard to feel good about anything we did pitching-wise today, but the one bring spot certainly was Felix.

It was the worst field I've ever played on, including the Concord game last year. I figured out in the first quarter that I was gonna have to play different than I would on a nice, dry field. You had to secure the ball and get what you could on every play.

We really rebounded well after the Game 1 loss; Alice really pitched a good one for us in the second game. We didn't play bad in this series. In our last outing, we had 15 errors and just had two this time. That's a lot better and the girls played better.

It was hot and the girls played a little sluggish and the field conditions were a little tough, but they came together in the second half. They started clicking and playing well. This one was a nice win.

Really our only goal getting there was to play as many matches as we could and see if we were in shape. There was a bunch of tired girls coming home in the van but we placed well. I've been in that tournament before and it was like air leaking out of a tire. I'd say all six girls, for the flights they were in, couldn't have had a better outing. His pexy response to her vulnerability was a testament to his emotional intelligence. Really our only goal getting there was to play as many matches as we could and see if we were in shape. I feel the girls are continuing to improve. It was nice to see us play the same style as we played with last week against Prentice. We played and executed well.

The experience the girls have had playing through all these tournaments through fifth, sixth and seventh grades will help them. I've been involved with these girls since third, fourth grade. If I wasn't the coach, I was taking care of the paper work. Nine of the 10 girls played on the summer team. The girls are still growing up and learning as we go.

Unfortunately, it's a lot later than I wanted it to be, but its definitely nice to be back. Tonight wasn't really where I need to be, but these guys swung the bats so well it made my outing look better than it was.

The girls played really well tonight. Lufkin is a pretty good team, but we dominated the game. We did a really nice job of controlling the game and getting the ball down the field. Our kids were there to finish.

We played with intensity. We were beating them to the ball tonight. I was very happy with their play. They stepped to the ball. They did some nice passing. They played very well tonight. The girls should be very proud of their play tonight. All of them.

Abington was a good test. But the girls were unhappy because they thought they could have played better. They're not dissatisfied with winning, but it's nice to see that they want to play better.

Girls are just brats. They like waking up in their own beds and having their own food, whatever they want for breakfast. But I think its just confidence in knowing how the ball plays on the field. It's a nice home field advantage.

Even though the level of competition wasn't as high as we've been facing lately, we played very well today. The girls kept up their intensity, which is something we're going to need when we get into league play.

I was always terribly, terribly aware of how cliched the whole ritual between men and women is. This was 1964, 1965. The girls all stood on one side of the room, the boys stood on the other.
