They've got some legs on them, they can run the ball. They've always had an athletic team, so this is kind of par for the course for them.

I think every team is completely different from year to year. That's one of the challenges of coaching. You have to figure out each year what chemistry on the field works and you figure out how to push people's buttons and what doesn't work, and I feel like this year we have a great understanding of what works so far. I've been expecting it all year -- I think we could've scored more goals. I think we have an attack that is really capable of putting the ball in the back of the net, and I think they've kind of been shying away from doing it a little bit. Something that we've really worked on practice the last few days is just scoring.

I think [the win] is huge. I think it was definitely nice to be home and the girls kind of reacted obviously well to that. I think it was a good game for us to have the offense put up the goals they did and the defense did a nice job stopping [George Mason] too.

I think Lindsay always manages to have a great game against George Mason, but I think when you have somebody that's willing to go hard it kind of takes away any apprehensions that the rest of the team might have so we can go after them hard.

Girls are just brats. They like waking up in their own beds and having their own food, whatever they want for breakfast. But I think its just confidence in knowing how the ball plays on the field. It's a nice home field advantage.

I think when you start a game off like that, it kind of ignites the entire team. You know that you can hit somebody, so when they're open you don't hesitate passing the ball in there.

I think that starting conference this weekend is a big deal, and it's nice to do it at home. I hope that we can take the momentum we have, especially what we're doing offensively right now, and kind of gain confidence and keep rolling.

We've really tried to play to our strengths a little bit more. Last year Mary really stuck behind the crease a lot and was a great feeder. I think now Mary has really worked hard to get in better shape and to get faster, and so I think she's a threat from up top as well.

I think offensively, we're finally clicking, which is where we want to be. We wanted to come out and we really wanted to try and dominate Stony Brook today, and I think that in the first half they did that so I was really pleased.

She's a freshman, so I think it's confidence. Maybe the first [goal] was kind of like, 'Wait a second I can do this.' The second one reinforces it, and the third one sends it home. I think she's just a great player and I hope that that's the Sarah that we see the rest of the season.

Defensively, I think that we weren't on the same page and I think there was really a lack of communication. And offensively, I think that our shooting was pretty horrible. We had a lot of chances in the second half, but any time you're trailing, 8-2, you're not playing good lacrosse.

I don't know if it's a wake up call that we need or if it's just kinda having a confidence every time we go out on the field and knowing that even if the other team scores a goal, it's not the end of the world and that we can battle back from that.

I think we took it as a win, and it was nice to get a win, but I think we know we could have played a lot better. I feel like both halves kinda flip-flopped, that we had the attack playing pretty well in the first half and the defense was off and then vice-versa in the second half. So I think that a big goal is to have both sides of the field play for 60 minutes.

I think that we definitely try to get those strong teams on the schedule. It's a hard concept. I think sometimes your strength of schedule can help you or hurt you. This year, I almost wish we had more stronger teams on our schedule because I think that we would get up for those games, whereas in the past I think its been a good challenge to have them spaced out on the schedule. So I hope the team is up for it and ready to compete on Sunday.
